The G Family | Olathe, Kansas | Kansas City Family Photographer

I met the G family a year ago when their sweet girl turned 1. Now she’s 2, and we had so much fun together on this warm July evening. This meadow was only in bloom for a short time, and I’m so glad we caught it when we did because it was perfect for their session!

This is a great example of a mid-July session in Kansas City. The colors are vibrant, the sun is beautiful and there are often lots of pretty wildflowers and textured grasses we’ll use in your session. Often families are worried about the heat, but usually by the time we’re doing the session (about an hour before sunset), it’s not too hot but is just right for a setting of rich color and warm, magical light.
